Mike is Co-founder and a Principal of the MLG family of companies. He has more than 43 years of diverse real estate brokerage, development, consulting and planning experience. Mike is a frequent speaker on various economic development issues such as land use planning, tax incremental financing, brownfield development, public/private partnerships, annexation, affordable housing and more.
Mike has an extensive record of supporting sound economic development and positive business climate policies. He has frequently participated in helping create, refine, or eliminate laws or regulations, depending on their positive or negative impact on economic development.
Mike has been directly involved in creating legislations such as Tax Increment Financing, Brownfield Development, Annexation Job Creation, and Forward Wisconsin. He has also been an active member of numerous state and regional planning and legislative tasks forces.
